Connecting the Dots – Domino Math Games

Suggested Attendees:
Kindergarten – Grade 5 teachers, ELL, special education, and teacher assistants. Can be broken down for primary K-2 and Upper Elementary 3-5 or 4-6.

Come prepared to play games that incorporate the use of standard double-six dominoes that teach the following concepts:

  • Numeration/number sense/patterns
  • Subitizing
  • Basic operations + – x
  • Multi-digit addition and subtraction
  • Place value including decimals 
  • Fractions
  • Graphing and data analysis
  • and more.

This manipulative is easy to use and integrate into your program, and the games are appealing for all learners to use. We’ll also share game-boards, journal writing extensions, differentiating ideas, and time-saving management tips.

These games are great for regular classrooms, after school and special education programs, and are perfect for sharing at family math nights.
