Using math games as part of your program is a powerful strategy for engaging all learners, and differentiating instruction. But how to organize, collect and assess student work that comes from the math games that your students play?Participants will receive ideas for building a visual notes dictionary for math games, ideas for organizing a weekly schedule for your games cycle, assessment documents for the games. We will practice visual notetaking on some of my favorite games, play them and learn some differentiations and variations for each. You will also receive journal masters so you can start the year off with all the planning tools you need as well student copies so they are ready to go too! HANDOUT WILL CONTAIN GAMES, RECORDING SHEETS, CONCEPT SKILL CHECKLISTS FOR ASSESSMENT.
